Manufacturing Technology Convergence Program
Program Outline
This program consists of majors affiliated with mechanical Engineering departments (Mechanical Engineering, Product design and manufacturing engineering, Automotive Engineering) and New Materials Engineering. It is a convergence of general studies needed for manufacturing technology.
Educational Goal
  • - Engineering task analysis, to foster engineers with application and problem solving abilities.
  • - To foster engineers who are proficient in comprehensive design and distributive research and design.
  • - To foster leaders equipped with synergy from interdisciplinary convergence education.
Possibility of development as convergence and school-work links program
  • - It is based on convergence education program which is suitable for rapidly changing circumstances of production industry.
  • - By organizing school-work links program, it is possible to operate the program arranged by companies’ needs.
  • - Create production industry’s future growth engine by cutting edge research activity and related education that are suitable for the era of global competition.
Differentiation factors among other graduate studies (related with specialization)
  • - Rather than ambiguous convergence, we aim for ‘T’ shaped talented person who attempts to converge with technology needed for production industry.
  • - We organize specialized school-work links program, affiliated with the university’s cutting edge research.
